Since moving to our new home and discovering the delight of actually enjoying a master bedroom and en-suite, I have come to realize how much I love taking a bubble bath, silly I know, but seriously it is delightful to sink into the perfectly warm water, with or without bubbles, and feel almost immediate relaxation and peace.
One needs to take into account that up until now, we have lived in very old homes with one or two shared bathrooms. This means that there is no peace involved in the sanctuary of the bathroom, you do your business and get out, because invariably someone else is doing a potty-dance in the hall waiting for you to finish.
So today, I am grateful for the peace and relaxation that is enjoyed when taking a bubble bath.
