{Day 22}

As the days start to get hotter and incessant summer sun beats through my windows, I hear the hum of my central air conditioning kick on and I breathe a sigh of relief as the cool air floods the room around me. I am amazed that pioneers came here to settle this desert and lived day-to-day without the modern conveniences that I enjoy, because I don't think I would have lasted a day. Seriously it gets sooooo HOT! But it only is completely unbearable for ~3 months, right?!? Today I am grateful for A/C!
