It's about time for a new post...

We have finally emerged from the confines of the basement only to be met with 100 degree weather and find ourselves pining for the comforts of air conditioned entertainment via the Tele. I must say it has been hard to get out of the rut of being reclusive, but the little voice in my head (okay, really Scott) is telling me I need to make my Cherry Hill passes worth it--because after all I wanted/needed them so badly...right?!
Well we did make it to Cherry Hill and enjoyed a day in the sun. The SPF 50 was slathered on all, except my back--oyyy, it burns! I do have a nice tan line though, hopefully my body will remember when it used to tan after an unfortunate 1st degree burn instead of peeling back to white.
It was a fun, exhausting outing. Garrett loved the water, he just crawled around the kiddie area and kept putting his face in the water and then just laughing, he couldn't contain himself. Cameron loves the lazy river and Jorden finally went on the 'tube' slide and thinks it is just awesome.
Other news: Garrett took some 'first' steps (we tried to capture the moment on film--not so successful and of course he won't do it again)...we might have some pictures like Cameron with his "real" first steps several weeks later.
My little sister, Debbie, got engaged to Jared VanHouten! They are getting married on December 19th in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. We are so excited for them!
